Dear David, Just to say "thanks for my bill" - bet it’s not often you get clients say that! As you know business (and my competency) got much better in the 2nd year and I suppose for that reason I expected your charges to be higher - but instead they dropped... and quite considerably! When you explained to me that my bill was going to be lower because my invoices, bank statements and daily books were now much easier to check I was chuffed.
I did all this to give myself more control over my business, doing it gave me much more control over my cash flow, made me more aware of companies giving me 28, 36 or even 40 days to pay. And certainly gave me a big insight into stock control and to watch out for discount months from suppliers. So I already thought I'd saved a considerable sum on running costs... and then... just how great is that? You present me with a bill that is 12% lower.
